Better to have Loved and Lost

A little update

I know I don’t post all that much anymore, but I just figured I’d mention some stuff that’s been going on.

Celia and I are doing very well. Everyone says we’re still in the “honeymoon phase” and thats why we haven’t started hating each other yet, but I guess everyone is jaded and doesn’t like believing in fairy tales.

Productively, I’m dealing with my possibly ADD. I struggle daily to stay focused. I look at my list of things I want to do/ I could do, and when I can’t decide I break down into a pit of depression. This has happened daily for a while and I’m looking to see a doctor. But Celia has been there every step of the way and is very supportive.
When I can manage to beat this, I will be studying hand-drawn animation.

On the artistic note, I’m now working with a guy, doing illustrations for his book/ website. It’s a great idea and I can’t wait to share it with everyone but for now I’ll keep it on the downlow. It’s a good feeling knowing I’m going to be paid for my art.

So that’s that for now, it’s being very ugly outside but it hasn’t snowed all winter so I’m pretty sure it won’t (it can’t snow in march, right? Sorry east coast..)

Hopefully I’ll manage to update more, and if not, I’ll have to link you all to my crummy art blog which also never gets updated…

please remember to be nice to the employees. They really don’t want to be there, and working retail when it’s busy really sucks, so be patient and cut them some slack.

This year they brought black friday to Canada.
It’s so awkward and out of place here though. Most people are in school or at work.
luckily, at my store the “black friday” sales started wednesday
(we don’t know how to do it)
But yes. Employees are people too.
everyone is so rude around this time of year
Aren’t people supposed to be happy around the holidays?
